18v BODY ONLY DCS386N DeWALT Reciprocating Saw is built round a tough brushless motor for extended run-time, reliability and durability plus intelligent variable speed trigger and lock off switch. Other details include lever action keyless blade clamp for tool-free blade change, pivoting shoe with open top for high stability and visibility during a cut and a bright LED for clear illumination
Take advantage of more power using 18v XR tools with FLEXVOLT ADVANTAGE technology. A unique electronic module with pack identification technology enables the tool to recognise when an XR FLEXVOLT battery is attached and unlock even more power. The DCS386 delivers up to 50% more power when paired with a DCB546 XR FLEXVOLT 6Ah battery versus a DCB184 18V XR 5Ah battery. The DCS386 has been equipped with a crank type drive train for smoother, more efficient operation and reduced vibration, and delivers an impressive no-load speed of 3,000spm.

How does it work:-?

Log into MyDeWALT at http://MyDeWALT.DeWALT.co.uk/3/ and create an account if you do not already have one
Register the machine by entering the product model number and select an option from the drop-down listing. Unfortunately for kits each individual item must be registered separately ?
Enter the date code (engraved inside the battery holder or on the underside of the machine) followed by the serial number shown on the machine rating label. Finally enter your SKU reference, purchase location plus the date of purchase and click confirm ?
A summery page will appear showing that the machine has been successfully registered through the DeWALT Warranty Website. The confirmed availability of the extended warranty against the specific machine will be indicated in green allowing you to download the Warranty Certificate?
In the event of a machine failure during the extended warranty period contact DeWALT directly for guidance and assistance, you will be required to supply details from your Warranty Registration Certificate which you can recover through your original DeWALT account
