18v BODY ONLY DJR183Z Makita Reciprocating Saw uses a quick blade change system simply turn to remove and insert blades. These 18v Makita Reciprocating Saws use two switch levers giving variable speed control, there is a normal trigger mechanism on the tool handle plus an extra paddle switch on the tool body makes for easy, safe operation in any grip position, fully versatile reciprocating saws using either trigger. Other features of the DJR183Z Makita Reciprocating Saw is an LED work light with handy pre-glow function, shoe adjustment and rubberised soft grip providing safe and sure grip around the tool. As these machines are DJR183 models they can be powered using genuine Makita 3Ah, 4Ah or 5Ah lithium batteries

Makita Power Tools, Batteries and Chargers purchased from Power Tools UK are warranted to be free of defects from workmanship and materials for a period of 12 months from the original date of invoice. Makita customers can extend this initial Power Tools UK warranty period out to 36 months by registering machines, batteries or chargers directly with Makita at makitauk.com/3-year-warranty within 30 days of purchase. Should any Makita machine fail during the extended free of charge warranty period, the returns process could not be simpler with faulty tools returned directly to Makita for inspection, repair or replacement as appropriate
The easiest and quickest way to arrange Makita Warranty is to contact their dedicated warranty team on 0800 345 7942 they will assist and help to arrange the return from you at the earliest opportunity. Please note that you will be asked for certain information including date of purchase and original invoice number before the warranty claim can be processed
Makita at an agreed time and date will uplift the machine from any business or residential address, (it does not need to be the original invoice address shown on your paperwork) Makita WILL NOT COLLECT from building sites
Please carefully package the machine ready for transit clearly marking the RMA reference on the package in advance of the agreed time and date of uplift
Makita’s commitment to their product range means that they will always endeavour to keep a complete stock of all spares for current and older products within their range. Under normal conditions Makita UK will inspect, report, repair, replace and return within 7 working days

Repairs are required because of normal wear or tear
The tool has been abused, misused or improperly maintained
