BL1830Bx2 Makita Battery Pack 2 x 18v x 3Ah Lithium Batteries featuring L.E.D. Battery Charge Level Indicators allowing the trade to monitor battery levels throughout any application. Makita 3Ah Batteries BL1830B have a category leading charge time of just 30 minutes allowing more time working and less time sitting in the charger. These 3Ah batteries use the latest optimum charging system allowing extreme lifetime work, x2 more cycles and x5 lower self-discharge keeping Makita BL1830B Battery Cells active and ready for use even after long periods of storage.
Charging these batteries at any time will have no effect on the memory of the battery, built-in shock absorbing features protect the battery, sixteen (16) firm holding contact terminals reduce the risk of power loss/fluctuation in high vibration work environments plus the battery’s built-in Memory Chip communicates with the charger to maximize battery life.

Makita Power Tools, Batteries and Chargers purchased from Power Tools UK are warranted to be free of defects from workmanship and materials for a period of 12 months from the original date of invoice. Makita customers can extend this initial Power Tools UK warranty period out to 36 months by registering machines, batteries or chargers directly with Makita at makitauk.com/3-year-warranty within 30 days of purchase. Should any Makita machine fail during the extended free of charge warranty period, the returns process could not be simpler with faulty tools returned directly to Makita for inspection, repair or replacement as appropriate

The easiest and quickest way to arrange Makita Warranty is to contact their dedicated warranty team on 0800 345 7942 they will assist and help to arrange the return from you at the earliest opportunity. Please note that you will be asked for certain information including date of purchase and original invoice number before the warranty claim can be processed

Makita at an agreed time and date will uplift the machine from any business or residential address, (it does not need to be the original invoice address shown on your paperwork) Makita WILL NOT COLLECT from building sites

Please carefully package the machine ready for transit clearly marking the RMA reference on the package in advance of the agreed time and date of uplift

Makita’s commitment to their product range means that they will always endeavour to keep a complete stock of all spares for current and older products within their range. Under normal conditions Makita UK will inspect, report, repair, replace and return within 7 working days

Please note that warranty does not apply where:-

Repairs have been made or attempted by others

Repairs are required because of normal wear or tear

The tool has been abused, misused or improperly maintained
