DHP458RTJ Makita Combi Drill 18v part of the superb 5Ah Makita Power Tool range giving tradesmen new levels of 18v Makita power and productivity assisted by the proven Makita FD31-30 DC motor. Compact and tough this 18v Makita Combi Drill has an overall length of just 225mm making them one of the shortest in this class of professional power tool. DHP458RTJ Combi Drills come with enhanced dust and drip-proof performance allowing use on outdoor applications or harsher environmental conditions. The handy battery fuel gauge is indicated in 3 stages simply by pushing a button 3 lights on more than 50% of full battery capacity, 2 lights on 20% to 50% of battery capacity left and 1 light on less than 20% of fuel life left. As with a number of D type Makita Power Tools these drills can be powered through 3Ah, 4Ah or 6Ah Makita lithium batteries

Makita Power Tools, Batteries and Chargers purchased from Power Tools UK are warranted to be free of defects from workmanship and materials for a period of 12 months from the original date of invoice. Makita customers can extend this initial Power Tools UK warranty period out to 36 months by registering machines, batteries or chargers directly with Makita at makitauk.com/3-year-warranty within 30 days of purchase. Should any Makita machine fail during the extended free of charge warranty period, the returns process could not be simpler with faulty tools returned directly to Makita for inspection, repair or replacement as appropriate

The easiest and quickest way to arrange Makita Warranty is to contact their dedicated warranty team on 0800 345 7942 they will assist and help to arrange the return from you at the earliest opportunity. Please note that you will be asked for certain information including date of purchase and original invoice number before the warranty claim can be processed

Makita at an agreed time and date will uplift the machine from any business or residential address, (it does not need to be the original invoice address shown on your paperwork) Makita WILL NOT COLLECT from building sites

Please carefully package the machine ready for transit clearly marking the RMA reference on the package in advance of the agreed time and date of uplift

Makita’s commitment to their product range means that they will always endeavour to keep a complete stock of all spares for current and older products within their range. Under normal conditions Makita UK will inspect, report, repair, replace and return within 7 working days
